PERSONALLY, I TRULY LOVE PAINTING WITH TRADITIONAL ACRYLICS ON CANVAS AND ACQUIRING ACRYLICS, OIL AND WATERCOLOR ORIGINAL PAINTINGS BUT I’VE RECENTLY DISCOVERED MANY ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL PAINTINGS.

SINCE THEY ARE CREATED ‘DIGITALLY’, WHAT YOU SEE ON YOUR MONITOR IS PRETTY MUCH WHAT YOU’LL GET WHEN THE DIGITAL PAINTING IS PRINTED IN HARD COPY FORM. THE SAME TEXTURES AND DEPTH WILL BE THERE; THE PRINTED WORK SHOULD NOT BE ‘FLAT’. THIS ISN’T ALWAYS THE CASE WITH PRINTED REPRODUCTIONS OF OIL AND CANVAS PAINTINGS, ALTHOUGH BEAUTIFUL, THE TEXTURES ARE OFTEN FLATTENED.

I am a self-taught artist and photographer who enjoys working with acrylics and watercolor pencils and of course, the digital camera. I paint vivid, colorful paintings that are positive, cheering and sometimes whimsical. I also like to create simple designs to reflect openness and honesty. All of my artwork and photographs are family-friendly, rated G. Making art for children is my favorite thing to do...I try to pack those paintings with a lot of little details that they can have fun 'finding'. In addition to loving color, shapes are also important to me and I find that wavy lines reflect an open mind and free spirit and circular shapes convey a sense of completion, love and belonging.
